The importance of excellent customer service has once again been recognised by the property ombudsman and estate agents Hillier Estates have come out on top in their latest survey.
National survey company Referenceline works with trade associations to provide independent surveys on customer satisfaction required by the Office of Fair Trading consumer codes approval scheme. The recent survey found Hillier Estates to be above the national average of 93% with 100% client recommendations and an exceptional 10 out of 10 for professionalism and customer service.
In a recent report by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer, there is urgency to make a fresh call for more control over the actions of rogue agents. “Many agents conduct their business by following the TPO Code of Practice but there are still too many who are operating without that commitment to standards and without any external controls over what they do with client money.” said Mr. Hamer
“We are kicking the trend for unacceptable customer service, we have a transparent approach to communication and a proven proactive management style which is how we have grown and retained a loyal customer base”. said Andy Hillier, director of Hillier Estates. “The single biggest cause of complaint for buyers is the communication failure between the agent and the customer, Hillier Estates is tackling this stereotype by becoming ambassadors for good customer service” Andy continued.
